Why didn't apple offer the 3G option with the ipod touch 3G?
It never ceases to amaze me how rigid apple is when it comes to making new products. Why didn’t apple have a 3G at& t option for the new ipod touch? (Or another cellular company)

My point is this… I think that apple needs to Work Out the flaws of the ipod touch before they move on to the ipad.

If apple wanted to market the ipod touch as gaming device why the hell won’t they just add a damn joystick, instead of those stupid touch controls? They can even create a portable joystick that plugs into the usb slot.

Maybe its just the PC in me
Most of the things you're complaining about have more to do with AT&T than Apple. None of which stops people from buying the iPod Touch in record numbers. Even being the user of a dedicated e-book reader, I don't claim to understand the whole iPad thing or what the point even is. Umpteen years of technology to get yea much into such a small piece of hardware just to turn around and repeat it in a huge package with a huge price doesn't make sense to me, but I'm sure people will buy those too then be disappointed that it doesn't rock their world after all.
