What is the best way to get back with the love of my life after cancelling our wedding?

I met my fiance at college and we dated for 10 years before setting a wedding date? I was living and working in Australia for 5 of those years, because my business, which was extremely profitable ,was located there. We got on amazingly well, and travelled around the world and had so many intense life experiences together, we had an amazing connection!
Our problems seemed to revolve around the closeness and attachment she had with her family back in the USA. She missed them so very much and had a hard time adapting to Australian life, even though I tried to encourage her to form new friendships. We had an amazing life there, a great circle of friends, amazing travel and we loved one another! It seemed very difficult for her to adapt, she went home often and was adamant that she did not want to spend the rest of her life there! I the end our engagement failed just as we were making wedding plans (people had bought air tickets etc). Did she pick her family over me? was I wrong? cani fix

Yes you can fix this........

But only if you are willing to make some adjustments too.

See you cannot have a happy life if your life partner is not happy.

She may have been very happy to have all those adventures with you & travel all over the world, but I completely understand her wanting to settle down in US & not in Australia.

When you setlle down in a place you need to feel that you belong there. Maybe she didn't feel that way in Australia.

She did not pick her family over you, it is just that she missed them a lot.

So you should undersatnd all of this. I think she really loved you, since she tried doing what you liked (traveling & stuff), & she also tried staying in Australia even though she didn't like it there (She gave it a chance.)

But new friends are not the only think that makes a girl happy.

If you truly love her, maybe you can think of going back to US & settling there if your business permits.

Or think of a way that she doesn't feel seperated from her family & friends back in US.
