Head Youtek Speed Pro or Head Microgel Prestige Pro?
I am using a 4 year old Head Titanium 5100 with a 18x19 string pattern.... and head heavy
I am planning to buy one of these two racket.... which are head light... which one do you think I should buy?
I am a baseliner.... will I have a problem adjusting to the head light one?
I just bought the Microgel prestige pro which is a 16x19 string pattern, which is much different than the tighter string pattern that you currently have. Anyways, I also demoed the Youtek Speed 16x19 before I made my choice, and clearly the prestige pro was much better. From the serving point, I would say that the youtek might have given me a slightly crisper feel on my kick second serves, but for my flatter first serve, both were pretty crisp. From the baseline, I felt that the prestige pro just did a better job of the plowthrough feel, I don't know if you like that or not. Also, the youtek had less control than the microgel, which I need. I'm not much of a volleyer, but the youtek would probably be better for volleying because it's heftier.
Conclusion: Unless if you serve and volley, which you aren't, I would go with the microgel because it is seriously a similar racquet with a new paintjob.
