is this a fake Tennis Racquet?

i let my dad buy me a tennis racquet at tennis-warehouse.com... it is $95 dollars. someone told me racquets below a hundred bucks are mostly fake. is that true? so is the one i let my dad buy fake?

You don't have to worry about it being a fake, especially getting it from tenniswarehouse.com. They're a great site for tennis stuff.

The only reason it's on sale for that much, is that it's a slightly older model. Wilson's nCode lineup was replaced with the K-Factor line some time ago. So it's a perfectly good frame, as are all the sale frames at TW.

The only time you really have to worry about fakes are on ebay. And then you really only have to worry about it if you're buying one of the hot racquets right now (like Nadal's or Federer's or Roddick's frames). Those are very popular frames, which makes them much more likely to be fake. Since yours is an older frame, and was never extremely popular to begin with, there's a very low chance that even on sold on ebay would be fake.
