What can I do to improve my push ups, sit ups, and running?
I need Strength Training so what would be the best way to improve my push ups, sit ups, and running. I want to Work Out ,but I don't know how to push myself.
I can already do 40 push ups and 55 sit ups in two minutes and my time in running for a mile is 6 ,but I want to improve my running in 3 miles.
Here is a good program to improve running.
Do this 4-5 times per week.
For your first week, walk for 1 1/2 minutes and run for 30 seconds. Repeat this for 30 minutes.
For your second week, walk for 1 minutes and run for 1 minute. Repeat this for 30 minutes.
For your third week, walk for 30 seconds and run for 1 1/2 minutes.
Repeat this for 30 minutes
For your fourth week, run for the entire 30 minutes.
This will allow your body to slowly adjust allow you to train yourself to run a ful 30 minutes.
Remember, push ups, sit ups and running mainly improve endurance, not strength. If you want to improve your strength, you will need to lift weight. You don't have to buy expensive equipment or go to the gym. You can purchase an inexpensive set of dumbbells or formulate your own strength training routine. It is important to practice good form in order to avoid injury.
