I have Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction, where can I get a support belt?
I'm 24 weeks pregnant and have S.P.D which is very painfull and wondered if anyone here has also suffered with this and found a good support belt anywhere.
i had spd and found that obstectric physio was invaluable. she can give you advice on how to mobilise and give you different size support belts as you grow as well as other aids you may need to get you through. i had to have crutches. she can also discuss the best positions for labour . ask your midwife to make an appointment with her, it does get better once the baby is born but i know how painful it can get , i ended up on bed rest in hospital with it! good luck
