Does the Apple Ipad allow for memory expansion or do you only get what is build into it?
I want to know if you can attach an external hard drive to the ipad or even an SD card or some sort of separate memory that can be used with it? I have not really seen one so I don't know what kind of connections they do have. I assume that the answer is no, as apple always seems to make it that you have to buy their products to use with their stuff. If you could add extra memory to it it would make not point for a person to pay extra for the 32GB vs the 16GB. Like I said I don't know the answer and this is just an assumption so any insight to this matter would be appreciated.

Not at this point, no. There is an SD card reader you can get for it, but that's just for importing photos from a camera. It's possible that other apps will allow you to use SD cards, but don't bet on that.
