How can I paint my yoga mat?
I would like to hand paint my yoga mat. I need to know what type of paint would be best. It would have to be sweat and waterproof and doesn't flake or crack when i roll it. So, has anybody out there ever painted there mat? or any other ideas? Any ideas would be appreciated. thanks!
I want to paint my mat because I guess I'm picky, lol. Besides, I thought it might be an interesting project. Thanks for answering my question. : )
Acrylic artist's paint is flexible and waterproof but it may not adhere to ensolite (the closed cell foam the mats are made of.) In fact, it would likely peel off eventually.
If you really want to decorate it, use Sharpie permanent markers. I wonder why you would want to bother painting it anyway -- seems silly to me. The mats are cheap -- get one already decorated if yo don't like the one you have.
